Fisher & Paykel launch their latest innovative nasal pillows CPAP mask, the Brevida. The Brevida is an evolution of the very popular Pilairo mask, designed with thorough patient research in mind. This mask not only provides comfort, but also encourages user compliance with confidence. Adjusting to CPAP therapy can be a challenge, so F&P have made the Brevida comfortable and easy to use to ensure that patients will feel confident about using their treatment daily and getting the therapy they require.
Introducing the Brevida Nasal Pillows Mask
The Brevida features an innovative AirPillow seal which inflates to form a soft ‘pillow’ of air, while firmly sealing in and around the nose. The Brevida mask has been made user-friendly with a simple to adjust headgear strap. With velcro adjustment points, the user can easily tighten or loosen the fit of the mask until it feels comfortable and secure. The adjustable headgear also ensures that your mask is kept firmly in place while you sleep to ensure you are getting the intended therapy desired.
For light sleepers, the Brevida Nasal Pillows CPAP mask really is a great solution. Housing a washable diffuser on the bridge of the nose, noise and air draft can be reduced. The durable diffuser can be washed easily ensuring maximum hygiene levels can be kept.
The Brevida mask incorporates VisiBlue highlights, which are subtle colour cues that enhance the user friendly design, helping the patient with daily mask use. Watch the video below to see just how easy it is to fit and clean your Brevida mask.

- Mask-Fit Insurance
Mask Fit Insurance is available for this mask
If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.
Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.
You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).
The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, nor are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.
A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postge (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.
CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.
Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.
Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.
If you need any further information, please use the chat function (if available), or contact us.

Customer ReviewsBetter than a full mask Review by paul
Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationI am finding this nasal pillow mask much better than the full face masks I have been previously trying to sleep with. The nasal mask is more comfortable and far less likely to leak. I'm actually getting up to five hours sleep with it, which is the best I've achieved with a CPAP machine so far. However, don't bother with the Philips chin strap which I bought at the same time as it is not suitable for this mask.(Posted on 17 June 2019)
Does what it says on the tin. Review by Big Dave
Quality Website Information Ease of Use ValueI had a full face mask and could not handle it. Say this one ordered it at 3:00 in afternoon can following morning. You can't get better than that. I got 9 hours of therapy that night and on average 8 hours. My F&P machine is the latest on NHS with the full F&P maxplus (hated it) if you can handle the maxplus then brilliant I can't so I paid for the brevidia as I was going on holiday. Best £127 I've spent.10/10. DS from Lancashire.(Posted on 15 March 2019)
Highly Recommend Review by Frank
Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationThis replaced an earlier F&P mask I was using that was discontinued. That previous one was the second mask I tried. The very first mask did not suit me at all. So I looked again. I was keen to have the minimum amount of equipment on my face. The nasal pillow masks are the least intrusive generally. The don't cover the mouth so you need to breathe through your nose. That was not how I breathed at the time. I wore a strap that stopped my mouth falling open and used a decongestant to help keep my nose clear. Over a few nights my body adjusted and I now sleep easily with my mouth closed except when I have a heavy cold. The interesting thing is once you get the air moving through your nose it becomes less sensitive and helps keep the sinuses open. It takes a bit of patience but it worked so well for me. This mask is light and stays in place well. The seal is good and you can adjust it finely as things change slowly over time. It is a lot of money for the manufacturing cost but it is a similar price to the others so we have limited options. I have found this mask to do the job really well. It lasts a long time and you can get be spares if any of the parts fail early. The introduction of CPAP improved my life enormously and these masks are en essential part of the happening.(Posted on 14 January 2019)
Probably the most SILENT mask available Review by ROBIN
Value Quality Website Information Ease of UseThis is a very good mask. My first word of advice is to order the Fit Pack, as it contains two cushions to try - you really need a good fit and you cannot be completely sure until you try both.(Posted on 31 May 2018)
I have tried several masks, and I can honestly say that this is the QUIETEST mask available. The diffuser at the front is just brilliant - no jet of air bothering your bed partner, or making a loud noise as the air hits the pillow or your blanket (noise is the main problem with the otherwise very good ResMed N-20, by the way).
I had to return it as the cushion was hurting the inside of my nostrils - what a pity. However, many other people do not report the same problem.
I wore it on top of a ResMed Chin Restraint; the headgear helped to keep the chinstrap perfectly in place.
report about the Brevida Review by Joy
Value Quality Website Information Ease of UseI have tried about nine different masks and hated them all so the Brevida was my last chance before I gave up altogether. However, I am delighted to report I really like it and I no longer dread going to bed. Altho I realise no masks are great as its such an unnatural thing to have on your face but for me its the best by far(Posted on 27 April 2018)
Unexpectedly good Review by JC
Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationI wasn't expecting too much from this, as it seemed so minimal, that how could it work properly? But it does. Very comfortable, seals well, and not having your head all strapped up is great. Top mask.(Posted on 13 February 2018)
Very comfortable Review by Cavendish
Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationHaving tried a number of different masks over the years and given up on all of them, I decided to try this one. Absolutely wonderful! Very comfortable, quiet and doesn’t leak either. This has transformed my CPAP experience and will enable me to use my machine every night. Thank you to the designer.(Posted on 5 February 2018)
Didn’t like it Review by Pippa
Ease of Use Value Quality Website InformationI purchased the Brevida to compare against the Dreamwear. The Brevida was comfortable until I switched on the CPAP. Unfortunately it froze m6 nostrils so I ended up pulling it off my face several times as just couldn’t tolerate it. I have reverted back to the Dreamwear.(Posted on 1 January 2018)
